I got sick of looking at the old complain-o-entry. So - who am I? You can call me Zion, I used to draw a bit but wasn't very good at it and a while ago I decided to leave it to people who were more talented. I still have a lot of artist friends, though, and this is a good way to keep tabs on them. Plus I get to find new art and artists that I like!

So if you're wondering who on earth just faved something you made or left a random comment...I suppose you're just as confused as you were a minute ago. Oh well! I'm sure you'll survive.

Sooooo...just out of pure curiosity, if I had a contest and offered a couple of brand new Prismacolor markers (or their equivalent in art supplies) as the prize, how many of you would actually participate? It would only require a design idea/base sketch, not a major art endeavor.

There's just been something nagging away at the back of my mind that my imagination can't fulfill...

Well, things are going well so far this summer. I've got a part-time job. I saw all three Harry Potter movies over the last few days (reviews in my LiveJournal if you're listed as a friend: here), and I'll be able to read the books now thanks to a loaning friend.

I'm not doing as much art as I'd hoped I would. I was planning on taking a whole bunch of photos at the Detroit Electronic Music Festival, but I ended up only going for a few hours (it was icky), and took a couple of snapshots. I could probably upload those. As far as drawing, I'm in the middle of a trade with ~charisangel, which is going alright. I actually had the sketch and some inking done within days of our decision, but being busy lately has meant that's as far as it's gotten. I should finish that soon.

I want to get to know more people on here. So far I've just been striking up conversations with friends of my friends, and commenting a lot on random deviations...but that doesn't seem to get me on anyone's devwatch list. So I've been looking at clubs - is there anyone that would recommend a club to me? I just have no idea how clubs work on here, or how to join, or WHO to join. Advice would be appreciated. Some of you are in my art harem, you're REQUIRED to help me with these things. ~_^

Sooo...I actually got (one of) the 7,777th hits to 's page, and now she's going to draw me something, anything I want! And I'm sooooo confused. She's ridiculously good, and this'll probably be the only time I'll get to do a trade/request/whatever with her, and I don't know what to request. (I'm trying to avoid the usual "art harem" gag - I don't want to offend her awesome and talented boyfriend, ~ceremono )
